This gorgeous filigree beauty is a fabulous mix of crisp tones and delicate patterns. The foliage in the filigree is wonderfully echoed in the pale crisp green stone and together they have a lovely harmony like wandering down a cobbled path through vines of mottled Algerian ivy. The round green amethyst/ green quartz/ prasiolite (whichever name you want to give this fabulous stone) is not flawless, there are little inclusions that throw the refractions of light. The pale green stone picks up the white from the metal, the yellow hues dance in the sunshine and the dark from the surrounds cast little shadows so it really does have a mottled pattern to it. Held in a four claw 10ct white gold setting, the stone sits atop filigree shoulders and edges, meaning her profile from all sides is stunning.
